Biography

The Chartered Institute of Marketing

Originally from the engineering industry, Duncan Jordan moved into education over 10 years ago after spending 5 years with JD Wetherspoon as a manager and trainer where he helped develop their award winning training programme.

Following this Duncan has developed and delivered many Foundation Degrees in both IT and Business. He has taught on a range of programmes and specialises in Project Management and Marketing as well as Business Development. In addition to lecturing at Newcastle College, Duncan now delivers for CIM Academy on the Level 4 Certificate Digital Marketing module, something he recently helped develop when the new syllabus was introduced in 2014.

Duncan is a Chartered Marketer and is also a Senior Examiner for the CIM in charge of the Managing Consumer Behaviour Module and overseas the writing of assignment briefs and the marking process.
