Biography

Prof.mr.dr. Ernst de Bruijn (1954) is Professor of Public Administration at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at Delft University of Technology and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is also chairman of the Department of Multi-Actor Systems of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at TU Delft. He is one of the two scientific directors of the BSik Next Generation Infrastructures. His publications cover the following areas. Firstly, he writes on issues of governance and management, particularly process management. Second, he conducts research on decision-making processes on complex infrastructure projects. Thirdly, he is investigating the privatization and liberalization of infrastructures. He is a member of the Committee on Environmental Impact Assessment. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the TAUW group.
