Biography
Following his university cursus which focused on the regulation of behaviour and self-care management, Dominique Steiler is particularly interested in occupational stress. Very keen to develop operational research, Dominique completed his cursus by becoming a fighter jet pilot officer in the French Fleet Air Arm. Doctor in Psychology and Management - from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK - Dominique is Associate Dean of Pedagogy in charge of educational competencies. He also heads the Centre for Personal and Managerial Development, which provides personalised counselling for both students and personnel throughout their careers. His teaching and research within the Management and Behaviour Department focus on coaching and leardership, the influence of different personality types in the workplace and the measurement and management of occupational stress. Extra activities include coaching managers and corporate executives.
