Academic Division: FinanceBefore coming to Babson College, Dr. Harrington was a professor at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and taught at the graduate business schools at Northwestern University, Amos Tuck at Dartmouth College, and Iowa State University. She has written and taught extensively about long-term investments, and the uses of beta. Dr. Harrington has written more than 30 cases and several books, including Corporate Financial Analysis in a Global Environment, which is in its 7th edition, Case Studies in Financial Decision Making, The New Stock Market, Modern Portfolio Theory: the Capital Asset Pricing Model and Arbitrage Pricing Theory: A User''s Guide. Dr. Harrington also serves as a trustee on the boards of mutual funds.
