Bénédict Wauters holds graduate diplomas in Business Economics and International Relations, a BA in Philosophy and Art History and Archeology, and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Leuven. He also obtained a Master in Development and Project Planning from the University of Bradford. Between 2014 and 2018 he is working on his PhD in Philosophy on the role of empathy in public performance management at the University of Antwerp. Presently he works as a freelance trainer and lecturer at a number of organisations and schools through his consultancy and training bureau Latitude. Furthermore he is director at the Flemish ministry for employment and social economy in the esf-department, where he is responsible for innovation, impact evaluation and methodology.
