Deanna Azevedo

An adjunct lecturer at San Joaquin Delta College (Stockton, CA) and a member of the Art History faculty, I am fascinated by how we tell stories within the frame. In 2008, I completed a Master of Arts in Film Production at Humboldt State University. Passionate about art and design, my graduate work placed special emphasis on production design—the art of translating a director’s vision into the visual world of a film. As a lecturer, I enjoy using my background as a storyteller to beguile students and bring the visual arts to life.
