David Santee

David S. Santee began his legal career in 1999 at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he tried more than 250 cases to verdict in the Philadelphia Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. He has represented adults and juveniles charged with anything from a summary offense to attempted murder. Before opening his own practice, Mr. Santee also represented clients in civil matters as an Associate at Rawle & Henderson, the nation’s oldest law office. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Dean for Trial Advocacy Programs at Villanova University School of Law. As Assistant Dean, Mr. Santee was responsible for the design of the law school’s Trial Advocacy Program and taught courses in both Trial Advocacy and Legal Writing. He teaches trial advocacy to practicing lawyers as an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Santee is an avid long-distance runner, having completed four marathons and multiple half marathons.
