David holds a Masters in Philosophy and Public Policy from The London School of Economics (LSE), a Law degree from St. Mary's University, and a Government degree from UT Austin. He is Managing Director for Vivicare Austin, a pediatric home health care organization that helps to care for medically fragile kids. David is also founder and co-owner of Cavanaugh Quintanilla, PLLC, a local law firm specializing in wills and estate planning as well as business and real estate law. Prior to his current roles, he served as partner and CFO for the local Serranos Tex-Mex restaurants. David serves on the Boards of Directors of Hospice Austin and Marathon Kids. He is also Board Secretary for the Barton Hills Elementary PTA and a member of the Mendez Middle School Campus Advisory Committee. David and his wife, Laura, have two daughters, Kennedy and Atalie, and a son, David (Baby Dave).
