Background
David McIntyre joined the faculty at the Univeristy of South Carolina''s Darla Moore School of Business in Fall 2017. He holds a BBA and a MACC from the University of Georgia, a MBA from the University of Central Florida and a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. Before obtaining his Ph.D., McIntyre worked in the telecommunications industry for Sprint gaining experience in the areas of billing systems, internal audit and budgeting. He is a CMA and has held an active CPA license since 1995 providing consulting services to small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Research
McIntyre''s research interests include financial performance in regulated industries, the effects of strategic management decisions on firm performance and accounting education.
