IE Business School
David Lopez is Lecturer in Digital Economy at the University of Exeter Business School and adjunct Professor in operations and technology at IE Business School. David's research interests lie primarily in AI and data science as enablers of innovation in business and society. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and executiveMBA by the Technical University of Madrid and IE Business School respectively.
Prior to joining the academia he worked for Vivendi, IBM Global Services, Sky and more recently for KPMG managing the data analytics unit in Madrid. He has adviced both private companies and public bodies including the spanish agency for donation and organ transplant, Popular Bank, Santander Bank, INDITEX, SACYR, ZOETIS and CENTRICA.
