Biography
UW Professional & Continuing Education
David La Fazia has more than 25 years of experience working with elders and their caregivers. La Fazia is a practicing social worker and teaches in the School of Social Work, focusing on families and aging, theory and direct practice, and research methodology. He also serves as a research scientist in the Department of Psychosocial and Community Health at the UW School of Nursing, implementing cognitive-behavioral interventions for treating mood and behavioral problems in elders and caregivers. He holds a Ph.D. in social work from the University of Washington.
