David Barbour

David is joint Managing Partner and co-founder of FPE Capital. Having qualified as a lawyer (Ashursts) and worked in the media, telecoms and corporate advisory worlds before moving into private equity investing. His advisory career was entirely at the Fleming investment bank and successor firms, where his experience helping small technology and telecoms firms to raise equity built on his interest in growth company financing.

David focuses on the telecoms and financial services sectors. He also leads the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activities, including the recent close of FPE Fund II at £101m.

When not working he can be found walking dogs in London or Dorset, preferably with at least one of his children in tow.
