Dan Waldman, PhD  is the chief economist for RBC Capital Markets Global Arbitrage and Trading Group. Prior to that, he was a global strategist at Woodbine CapitaLand senior foreign exchange economist at Barclays Capital. Dan also worked at Merrill Lynch where he was a foreign exchange strategist and as an analyst in equity research for Goldman Sachs. He holds a PhD in economics from Columbia University, and a BA in economics and international studies from Yale.
