Biography
The London School of Economics and Political Science
I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received BA degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2016. I then spent one year as a post-doctoral scholar at the University of California Berkeley's Department of Economics. As of Fall 2017, I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics.
My research interests are primarily in behavioral welfare economics and public economics. One strand of my recent work considers optimal policymaking for behavioral economics, and another strand focuses on tax evasion by wealthy Americans. I have done research on several other questions in applied microeconomics, including pension design, minimum wages, behavioral finance, and information search.
Apart from professional activities, I enjoy all kinds of music and, recently, cycling.
