Bio
Daniel Kinnear is the data manager for the Economic and Business Research Center, and is responsible for providing timely and accurate data for the Forecasting Project, the Center’s websites, and the Arizona’s Economy Mobile App and web publications. Working with EBRC’s director, George Hammond, webmaster, Maile Nadelhoffer, and the UA Web Mobile Services group, Daniel was project lead in the development of Arizona’s Economy Mobile App for smart phone and tablet which launched in December of 2013. His work also supports the data and analysis found on the M.A.P. Dashboard website. Daniel holds both BSBA and MS degrees in finance from the University of Arizona. His finance master’s thesis examined the implications of lowered trading costs and improved liquidity on the small firm effect. Daniel also is an adjunct lecturer in the Finance department in the Eller College, where his courses include FIN 423/523 Applied Portfolio Management and FIN 311 Introduction to Finance.
