Daniel Connors

Dan Connors is an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in Finance for Mendoza’s full-time MBA and Master of Science in Finance programs. 

Before joining the Mendoza faculty, Dan served as Chairman and CEO of several companies involved in significant turnaround situations, mostly in private equity environments. Additionally, he served as a member of the senior management teams of several other companies involved in turnaround situations.  He has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of a number of private and public companies.  Mr. Connors currently serves as a charter member of Notre Dame’s Student Athlete Advisory Council.

Previously, Dan had been with Bain & Company for a number of years, working in Bain’s Dallas, London and Munich offices.

Earlier in his career, Dan practiced law for 10 years in Washington, D.C.  He began his career as an Air Force Captain attorney in the Air Force General Counsel’s Office at The Pentagon, and was with the Crowell & Moring law firm for a number of years after that.
