Biography

King’s Business School

Crawford has been at King’s since 2017. Immediately prior to joining King’s, he was Associate Dean at Warwick Business School with responsibility for the School’s academic programmes at its London Shard campus, particularly the Executive MBA. Previously, Crawford has worked at the United Arab Emirates University, UAE; Concordia University, Canada; and, the University of St Andrews, Scotland. He has held visiting appointments at Kobe University, Japan; University College Molde, Norway; and, the Universidad Publica de Navarra, Spain.

At King’s, Crawford is a member of the Dean’s Senior Leadership Team and spearheads the development and execution of the School’s Corporate Relations strategy, which includes responsibility for Executive Education, Accreditation, Alumni Engagement and Corporate Partnerships. He is also the School’s London Champion, looking for ways to institutionalise relationships with city-based organizations.

Along with Alex Preda and Rita Samiolo, Crawford co-directs the FinWork Futures Research Centre, which explores how technological innovation is disrupting financial professions and financial expertise. He sits on the editorial boards of Accounting, Organizations and Society, The Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and Contemporary Accounting Research.
