University of Technology Sydney
Craig Baty is a globally recognised hi-tech industry adviser and Principal of his own business DataDriven. Craig has more than 3 decades of ICT experience, having started as a mainframe operator in 1979 and studying COBOL at TAFE. He has held local and global C-level roles in First State Computing, British Telecom and Gartner (world’s largest ICT research & advisory firm). Most recently he was based in Tokyo as VP Global Strategy/VP Digital Services for Fujitsu’s 42B ICT business. He is actively involved in the ICT industry as Vice-Chair for the Australian Computer Society (ACS) is board director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML).
Craig has an MBA in International Business and is completing a Doctor of Business Administration by Research (DBA) focusing on the influence of national culture on ICT Strategy and Investment. He is an accomplished and entertaining speaker and lecturer and is passionate about developing Australia’s leadership capability in the digital economy.
