Villanova University

Chris is an associate professor of clinical mental health counseling at Villanova University. He teaches graduate counseling students as well as undergraduate courses, engages in research on divorce/ separation, couples counseling, and counselor development. He also provides developmental counseling and consultation for individuals, couples, and families and delivers workshops and/or speaking engagements to larger groups.

Chris grew up in suburban Washington DC, received his undergraduate degree in psychology from George Mason University and both his masters in clinical counseling and PhD in counselor education from the College of William & Mary. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
