Biography
Christophe Thibierge is an Associate Professor in the Finance department at ESCP Europe Paris Campus. He graduated from ESCP Europe with a Master in Management and from Ecole Centrale Paris with a Specialized Master. He holds a Doctorate  - in finance. His expertise is in the area of financial information and market valuation of firms. This encompasses financial statement analysis, securities analysis and event-studies in financial communication. He teaches on the school’s Master programme, its Executive MBA and on several executive programmes (both open-enrolment and customized programs). Professor Thibierge has authored and co-authored many books in corporate finance (Analyse financière, 4th edition, Vuibert, 2011 - Comprendre toute la finance, Vuibert, 2012). He has also translated two major American textbooks: Finance, by Bodie and Merton, (3rd French edition, Pearson France, 2011) and Principles of Corporate Finance (Principes de gestion financière), by Brealey, Myers and Allen (7th edition, Pearson France, 2006). Dr. Thibierge is particularly interested in pedagogy (he participated in the International Teachers'' Program, Stern School of Management, NYU, in 2001, and Kellogg, Northwestern, 2011) and web-based applications (he has a pedagogical website, www.thibierge.net, and has set up companion websites for textbooks). Professor Thibierge was awarded the ESCP Europe Teaching Award on the year of its creation, in 2008. Dr. Thibierge is also a Certified Practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Index (MBTI), level I.
