Biography

Christine Chun is a proud daughter of Korean immigrants and is currently pursuing an MGA/MBA dual degree. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, she worked in the nonprofit sector leading service-learning programs in low-income Chicago public schools. For the past eight years, her passion for culture and community has led her to unique opportunities in education, international development, advocacy for refugee and immigrant populations, and corporate social responsibility across Latin America, Uganda, and major US cities.
Christine holds a BS in elementary education with an emphasis in international development and she speaks fluent Korean and Spanish. Her current professional interests include leading strategic, people-centered teams and identifying sustainable economic development opportunities alongside marginalized communities, especially small-scale coffee farming in Ecuador. As a master of global affairs student, she is the recipient of a McKenna Center Fellowship.
