Wagner Graduate School of Public Service

Chris Bastian is Associate Director of Transport Systems Analysis at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.  He has 30 years of experience in the transportation planning field, with the last 24 at the MTA.  His areas of specialty include Airport Access, Fare Policy and New Fare Technology application, Analysis of Long Range Demographic and Travel Trends, and Staten Island Mobility Issues .  He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Urban Studies and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College.
