Biological research scientist committed to the idea that cell therapy and genetic engineering approaches will significantly strengthen future clinical therapies. My interest in scientific research began with cell based investigations and my passion is now to bridge basic research science and clinical applications that will lead to therapies.

Results-driven experimentalist eager to conceptualize, troubleshoot, and incorporate both new and proven techniques. Qualified in many laboratory techniques including animal studies, tissue culture, and molecular analysis/manipulation.

►COMPETENCIES: Primary stem cell isolation, growth, and differentiation. Microscopy. Animal use and handling. Molecular testing and manipulation.

►LABORATORY OPERATIONS: Submission, review, and approval of Institutional Approval of the Care and Use of Animals (IACUC) and Stem Cell Research Oversight (SCRO) protocols. Lab and departmental presentations. Instructor for courses attended by students and online.

►PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT: Designed and implemented a project management approach to utilize individual strengths and address questions more efficiently. Trained, mentored, and managed technicians and students
