Cherie H. Chen joined Cass Business School in January 2012 as a Lecturer in Insurance and Risk Management.

Upon completion of her studies in the US, Cherie embarked on a career in the financial services industry including for multinational companies such as Zurich Insurance Group, Swiss Re, Standard Chartered Bank and Allianze Global Investors.

In 2007, she carried out her doctoral research on "Behavioural Finance – the relationship between risk attitude and behavioural biases” at the University of Edinburgh during which time she received “The Best Poster Presentation for Research Excellence”.

Qualifications

MBA in Insurance and Risk Management, PhD and FLMI.
