Mr. McPeak has more than 30 years of applied experience in the accounting field including serving as assistant controller for Hughes Aircraft Company, controller for Mattel Inc., and CFO for A&E Plastic Pak. Previous positions include director of corporate development, and director of financial planning. His extensive industry experience combined with more than 15 years in the classroom provides an ideal mix of the practical and the academic. His classes emphasize the use of technology in accounting and finance functions. A proponent of applied scholarship, Mr. McPeak frequently conducts seminars in finance and accounting for a varied group of practitioners. His research and publications center on the fields of earnings management, expensing stock options, and the relationship of sustainability and financial performance.
