Carter has 12+ years of experience information IT & Security and brings multi-cloud architecture and security expertise. He is an (ISC)2 Authorised Instructor and ben (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter as an Executive Committee Member for the past 3 years. In addition, he was nominated by Singapore Computer Society as a Co-Opt Member for the Cybersecurity Chapter. Carter has numerous experience with different Cloud Service Providers (Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Alicloud) throughout his career. Currently, he is working in a local pure play Cybersecurity organization in Singapore as a Cybersecurity Architect.

Carter has broad experience working in the past for organisations such as BlackBerry, Microsoft, Keppel Corporation and DXC by building professional security services practice, providing technical leadership, pre-sales systems engineering, developing enterprise cloud architecture for customers that are in either a hybrid cloud environment or a pure cloud environment. Carter can be considered as a cloud technology pioneer as he started to gain experience with the Software-as-a-Service deployment model like G-Suite and Office 365 Dedicated (BPOS). In addition, during his career in Microsoft, he is one of the lead mentor for Field Engineers with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Intune and Enterprise Mobility Suite during it’s early stages. Carter has worked on numerous Cloud projects globally with major cloud vendor players like Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Alicloud. The complexity of various different country’s regulations is one of the key factor that he has experience and this knowledge will be valuable to different cloud practioners.
