After thirty-five years of Federal Service in the USAF, Central Intelligence Agency, White House and Government Accountability Office (fifteen of which were spent in Senior Executive Service positions), Carol became a full-time sculptor. She has taught leadership, organizational development, team-building and ethical decision making since 1983 for the University of Virginia, Brookings Institution, Federal Executive Institute and American University. She lives several miles out into the Atlantic Ocean on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Her latest book is: “Creatures of Imagination: A Journal of Discovery” chronicling the adventures of a 19th century British naturalist who discovers and then sculpts imaginary creatures from “the edge of evolution”. Along with Richard Phillips, she teaches the program from Management to Leadership.
