Biography

Carol is a Professor in the Discipline of Business Information Systems. She joined the University of Sydney in February 2021. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science. After graduating, Carol worked in a financial institution in Taiwan for nearly two years. She then began her academic career working in several leading institutions in the Asia-Pacific including City University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University and Tongji University.

Her work has been published in MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, andother outlets. She currently serves as Senior Editor at the Journal of Strategic Information Systems and Information Systems Journal.

She has served as Track Chairs in numerous international conferences, the Program Co-Chair of the 24th Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems in 2020 and will be the Program Co-Chair of the International Conference on Information Systems in 2025.
