Biography

Ford earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Penn State University and served on the faculty of Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Management before joining UCF. His scholarly interests focus on processes related to new venture emergence, with a particular emphasis on how decision making and communication processes help creative visions evolve into business ventures.

Ford’s research has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
