Bright Asante-Appiah is an academic and a consultant with several years of experience in public accounting and industry; a licensed certified public accountant (CPA), certified fraud examiner (CFE), chartered global management accountant (CGMA) and chartered certified accountant (United Kingdom). Prior public accounting experience includes “Big 4” firm, auditing SEC registrants in manufacturing, retail, communication, and energy sectors. Prior corporate accounting roles include SEC reporting, accounting policy development, and IFRS conversion at a Fortune 100 company. Recently consulted for a Fortune 50 company on its European subsidiaries’ IFRS conversion project.
