Biography
Wisconsin School of Business
I am a credentialed actuary with both the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and the Society of Actuaries (ASA). I have worked in both Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance. In my current role as Director of Actuarial Management for Payment Protection, I manage credentialed actuaries from both organizations. I oversee products that include credit insurance, debt protection and GAP. Previously I have worked on other commercial P&C products, such as mortgage insurance, debt default insurance and collateral protection, in addition to the mainline products such as General Liability and Property. I developed a system of reserving for old (30-40 years past) asbestos exposure assumed through reinsurance treaties. I have also worked with fidelity and surety products. Prior to my work on the P&C side, I worked in Life & Health for seven years, working on such products as Dental insurance, Annuities, Long-term Disability, both Individual and Group Life, and Medical Stop-Loss.
