Brian Grey is a technology/digital media startup company advisor and investor, serving most recently as CEO at Bleacher Report, Inc. (acquired by Time Warner in August 2012), where he led the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of Bleacher Report’s next generation sports publishing platform. A veteran of the digital sports media space, Grey joined Bleacher Report in June 2010 following a successful leadership tenure as Senior Vice President & General Manager of FOX Sports Interactive where he oversaw FOX Sports’ digital businesses and spearheaded the expansion of original video production and programming. Prior to FOX Sports, Brian was GM of Yahoo! Sports, where he directed the site’s push into original editorial programming and led Yahoo! to the number one position in fantasy sports. Before joining Yahoo!, he worked in digital media product management and business development at Nike, Inc., Netscape, and Shutterfly, Inc.
Prior to beginning his business career, he coached college baseball at U.C. Santa Barbara and later scouted for the Chicago White Sox. Brian holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Pacific University, an M.A. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Andersen School of Management. He is a member of the board at San Francisco Friends School. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Paige and his daughters Zeli and Ava.
