Background

Brent Daulton earned his bachelor''s degree in accounting from Newberry College and his master''s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He is also a certified fraud examiner. He joined the Darla Moore School of Business in the fall of 2016 to teach managerial and cost accounting. Daulton''s primary area of interest is in behavioral accounting, including fraud and forensics as well as issues surrounding ethical decision-making. Before returning to academia, Daulton provided forensic accounting services for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and litigation support for the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General, supporting their insurance compliance and fraud division.
