Blair Wylie, MD MPH, is the Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She combines her clinical work with international research with a specific interest in the impact of environmental exposures on pregnancy outcomes. She is the obstetrics investigator to an NIH funded prenatal stove intervention trial designed to test whether improved stoves and fuels can improve pregnancy outcomes and reduce pneumonia in the first year of life. She has additional NIH funding to evaluate pesticide exposures during pregnancy in this population. She has served as the chair of the Global Health Committee of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a member of the Global Operations Advisory Group at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and an external advisor to the NICHD’s Global Network for Women’s and Children’s Health Research.
