Harvard Medical School

Bethany-Rose Daubman, MD, is an attending physician in the Division of Palliative Care and Geriatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is the Assistant Director of Continuing Medical Education for Palliative Care at MGH and is the Course Director for MGH Palliative Care Grand Rounds as well as Course Co-Director of Palliative Care Faculty Seminar, a monthly interdisciplinary seminar for the Harvard hospitals and local hospice providers. Dr. Daubman is also Course Co-Director (along with Dr. Kristen Schaefer) of Practical Aspects of Palliative Care (PAPC). She is passionate about providing medical education at the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education levels. Dr. Daubman also enjoys teaching primary palliative care skills as a Hospitalist Liason for the Palliative Care Continuum Project and as project leader for the MGH Palliative Care Electronic Consultation Program.

In addition to medical education, Dr. Daubman is also passionate about international palliative care and has participated in educational projects everywhere from Kenya to Kyrgyzstan. She received her medical degree with a Distinction in Bioethics from Albany Medical College. She completed residency and served as chief resident through the Tufts Family Medicine Residency and completed the Harvard Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
