Benjamin Wellmann is Head of the CIO Machine Learning & Data Science at FIS, a Fortune 200 Fintech and Financial Services company and largest FinTech provider according to IDC. FIS is focused on innovative software platforms and services across the Banking, Capital Markets and Merchant services segments. Driving internal and client-facing innovation through Machine Learning across FIS’ platforms, corporate functions and the three product segments is Benjamin’s teams’ top priority. During his time at a Big 4 Consulting firm, he has advised the largest Financial Services institutions globally on topics such as AI, Big Data, and Enterprise ML and filed numerous AI and Fintech patents.
