Benjamin R. Mandel is an economist at Citi Research.  He focuses primarily on the United States and its linkages with the global economy.  Prior to joining Citi, Ben was an economist in the International Research group at the New York Fed, where he covered Japan, as well as the International Finance division at the Federal Reserve Board, focusing on U.S. international trade.
