Affiliate Professor of Strategy and Business Policy at HEC Paris

Benedicte Faivre-Tavignot is an Affiliate Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris. She is the Executive Director of the Society and Organizations Institute, which aims to develop a new way of thinking about the role of business in society, whether through research or teaching.

She created the HEC Paris Master of Science in Sustainable Development and also co-founded the HEC Chair Social Business / Enterprise and Poverty, which became the Movement for Social* Business Impact in 2016.

Her research focuses on reverse innovation—the processes through which Social Businesses and Base of the Pyramid business models can be a lever for innovation and strategic renewal.

Faivre-Tavignot received her PhD in Management Sciences in 2012 from University Lyon 3.
