Biography

Dr Ben Iaquinto is a human geographer with research interests in tourism and human-environment relations. Overall, his work explores how tourist practices and mobilities (dis)connect people from pro-environmental ways of living. Current projects explore the geopolitics of tourism and pro-environmental tourist practices among China’s Generation Z. He has a PhD in human geography from the University of Melbourne and is a Steering Committee member of the Australian Mobilities Research Network. His work has appeared in journals such as Tourism Geographies, Dialogues in Human Geography and Mobilities. Prior to joining the University of Hong Kong he was a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Public Policy, City University of Hong Kong.
