Biography

Bárbara Silva is Director of Companies and Advisor in Disruptive Innovation and Digital Transformation, she has advised leaders, governments and companies in the design of new models in the Digital Era. With an outstanding international career, she has lived and worked in Chile, Mexico, the United States and Denmark.

Silva introduced Singularity University in Latin America in 2016 and she is invited to share her vision of transformation and innovation in Company Boards, today she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chile California Council.

She has created various organizations to foster innovation and digital transformation, such as BeSTinnovation Consulting whose purpose is to prepare people and organizations in the digital innovation economy and HER GLOBAL IMPACT a Global Movement of Catalyst of Change that prepares and integrates female talent into the digital age.

She has been internationally recognized as an innovative woman of the Asia Pacific Forum, Forbes Forum and 100 Women Leaders of El Mercurio for her vision of the world and ability to develop and mobilize high-impact innovation initiatives beyond Latin America.

She is the President of the Jury for the Cartier Women's Initiative and was the first Latina to participate in the G8 Young Summit in London in 2013. She was the first Chilean woman to study at Singularity University and Draper University in Silicon Valley, she has two master's degrees in Organizational Psychology and in Innovation Management from the UAI.
