Stockholm School of Economics

Assia is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Marketing and Strategy, Center for Media and Economic Psychology. Her research considers issues in business strategy, economic geography and economic psychology, connecting these subject areas to unifying themes and ideas. Assia''s primary interests include inter-firm collaboration, competitiveness, innovation, industry emergence, business clusters and regional development.

Her dissertation work is focused on exploring the regional drivers that promote collaboration between firms located in geographical proximity. She addresses collaboration organized through formal associations of firms and looks into the factors that could stimulate firms to become members of such initiatives.

She holds a BSc in Economics and a MSc in Management from Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy). She has also completed the CEMS Master''s in International Management, a highly-ranked joint degree program.
