Armin Heinzl

Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl ist seit 2002 Inhaber des Lehr­stuhls für Allgemeine Betriebs­wirtschafts­lehre und Wirtschafts­informatik an der Universität Mannheim. Zwischen 1996 und 2002 hatte er den Lehr­stuhl für Betriebs­wirtschafts­lehre, insbesondere Wirtschafts­informatik an der Universität Bayreuth inne.

Er beschäftigt sich mit den Eigenschaften von Informations- und Kommunikations­technologien und deren Aus­wirkungen auf Aufgabenträger, Prozesse, Plattformen sowie Organisationen. Dabei versucht er nicht nur bestehende Theorien durch empirische Untersuchungen zu verbessern, sondern neue Technologien auf der Basis empirischer Er­kenntnisse zielgerichteter zu gestalten.
