Antonela Capelle Pogacean

Holds degrees in Slavic and East-European studies from the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO) and in Romanian and French literature from the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as well as a Ph.D. (2002) from Sciences Po for a dissertation on_ Representations of the Nation in the perspective of Hungarian and Romanian intellectuals. Intellectual and ideological origins_. Member of the editorial boards of Balkanologie and Critique internationale. 
Her research in historical sociology and in political science focuses on nationalism, religion and social beliefs in Hungary and Romania.
