Dr. Kim’s primary research interests are in the area of revenue management, advertising, game theory and online decision making. In online advertising, he has studied various characteristics of campaign budget management strategies and analyzed the performance of advertisement contracts. He has also researched informationally robust mechanisms and vehicle routing problems related to ride and delivery services. Dr. Kim has published his works in leading academic journals such as Operations Research and Games and Economic Behavior.

Prior to joining SKK Graduate School of Business, he was an applied scientist at Amazon (New York office), working on Sponsored Products ads. After completing his Ph.D. in Computer Science, he was a postdoctoral research scholar in the Decision, Risk, and Operations (DRO) Division of Columbia Business School. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he worked as a software engineer at Oracle Corporation.
