Anne S. Tsui is a distinguished professor of management at Peking University and Fudan University, as well as the Motorola Professor Emerita of International Management at the Arizona State University. Previously, she was the founding head of the management department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (1995-2003), and a faculty member at the University of California, Irvine (1988-1995) and Duke University (1981-1988). Tsui was the 14th editor of the Academy of Management Journal, the 67th president and fellow of the Academy of Management, founding president of the International Association for Chinese Management Research and founding editor of Management and Organization Review. As one of the most cited authors in management, her research and scholarly achievement awards include the AMJ (1998), ASQ (1998) and JOM (2012) best paper awards; the Center for Creative Leadership Applied Leadership Research Award (2008); and the University of Minnesota Outstanding (alumni) Achievement Award (2014). Tsui earned her A.A. from Northcote College of Education, Hong Kong; her M.A. from the University of Minnesota; and her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
