Biography
ESADE Business School
My first tertiary studies were a double major in sociology and German at Victoria University. A "student politician" I was responsible for "Cultural Affairs" and was involved in organizing events of many types. I also worked part-time in accounting and analysis of accounts. Later I travelled and ended up in Bremen, Germany where I worked, first, in the hospitality industry then in accounts and export management and later as an English teacher, specializing in Business Communication. At the same time I completed my Master's degree in social sciences and wrote a thesis "Macht oder Gewinn" (Power or Profit) essentially a thesis about Organizational Behavior. I moved to Barcelona in the 80s, trained as a teacher in tertiary education and continued to develop communication skills and strategy in companies, organizations and then as part of Business Studies programs. In 2001 I wrote Business Skills 3 (Delta) and I have published articles and given talks about Skills, Strategies and Change in Business and in Education. I recently prepared speakers for TEDxBarcelona.
