Tilburg University

I am an Associate Professor in the Management Department, TiSEM, Tilburg University. Previously I held a position in Strategy area at the Indian School of Business and the entrepreneurship department at IESE Business School.

I am interested in how technological innovations are transformed into value creating commercial outputs via entrepreneurial actions. Broadly, my research interests lie at the intersection of technology innovation, entrepreneurship & strategy.

Prior to pursuing an academic career, I worked in the wireless telecommunications industry for over twelve years in Spain, Silicon Valley and India as an entrepreneur, manager and engineer. In 2001, I founded Kubi Wireless, the premier Wireless internet Service provider in Spain. This initiative was 1st Runner Up in the European Business Plan of the Year and was recognized by Actualidad Económica as one of the "100 Best Ideas of the Year".

I did my doctoral studies at the Wharton School. I also hold an M.B.A from IESE Business School, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
