UW Professional & Continuing Education

Andrew Walsh is the executive director of the Eastside Heritage Center, an organization whose collection is available to the public by appointment and through satellite exhibitions throughout the region. He was previously the registrar of the Bellevue Arts Museum, where he worked with a range of contemporary art and historical material, overseeing art handling and managing the documentation associated with insurance and loan agreements for various curated and traveling exhibitions.

Walsh has also held roles in the museum field, working in the collections department of the Museum of Flight, MFA Boston and MIT Museum, and security at the Seattle Art Museum. These roles have informed his current position and his value of policies and procedures critical to managing museum collections. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Hartford, Connecticut and a Master of Arts in Museology from the University of Washington, Seattle.
