Andrew Janz

Mr. Janz specializes in structuring and developing solutions within an asset-liability risk management framework. With more than 16 years of industry experience in investment management and consulting, he works for Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management and RBC Global Asset Management as an institutional portfolio manager. Prior to joining Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management, Mr. Janz was a director for the liability driven investment team at Fiera Capital. He was also a consultant at PBI Actuarial Consultants, where his focus was on providing guidance in areas such as investment policy, performance monitoring and manager selection within a broader LDI risk management context. Other prior experiences include positions as an actuarial and investment analyst at a major global consulting firm. Mr. Janz holds a bachelor of mathematics (B.Sc.) degree from Simon Fraser University and is an associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) as well as a CFA charterholder.
