Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Andreas Wihler is Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior. After graduating in psychology, he completed his dissertation at the University of Bonn with focus on Industrial- and Organizational Psychology. During that time he was guest researcher at the Judge Business School in Cambridge, UK. His research focuses on the role of organizational politics for the occurrence and perception of proactivity and leadership behaviors. He is also interested in the effects of personality and motivation and its interplay with social skill on job performance and career success. Andreas Wihler works in international research collaborations with various organizations and received funding for his research from both the DAAD and the DFG. His research has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly.
